independent doctor
We are pleased to introduce our Optometrist, Dr. Emily Rocha, O.D.

Dr. Emily Rocha earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology with a minor in Biology from the University of Massachusetts Boston. Following her undergraduate studies, She completed her Doctorate of Optometry from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Science School of Optometry. Dr. Rocha trained via externships gaining experience in both primary care and advanced disease in excellent health care facilities and Hospitals in Massachusetts.

Dr. Rocha’s clinical interests include contact lens examinations and fittings, dry eye management, and educating patients in ways to prevent eye diseases. Dr. Rocha is also fluent in Brazilian- Portuguese and intermediate level Spanish.

Dr. Rocha values the importance of excellent patient care and making sure patients understand their eye health. In her spare time, she enjoys painting landscapes, playing piano, and spending time with family.
